Welcome, Certified Horsemanship Assn.(CHA) International Conference Attendees

This Offer is Just For You

If you’ve found this page through the CHA International Conference, you’ve found something I created especially for the horse professionals attending this year’s conference.

CHA has been part of my professional journey for many years. As a former CHA Master Instructor and Clinician and Assistant Certifier, I’ve had the opportunity to learn alongside other horse professionals, share ideas, teach, listen, and see firsthand what makes our industry stronger.

That is why I wanted to do more than simply place an ad in this year’s conference program.

I wanted to give something back.

The Equine Safety and Success Guide™ has grown out of decades of working with horses, riders, instructors, barn owners, managers, and attorneys—and from looking closely at all the things that happen around the riding lesson that can make a horse operation more successful.

Much of what is in these Toolkit Collections may make you think:

“We already do that.”

Good.

But you may also discover something that makes you stop and think:

“We don’t do that.”

Or:

“We do that—but we’ve never written it down, taught it that way, or made sure everyone does it consistently.”

That’s where these resources can become valuable.

You Found These at the Right Time

The Equine Safety and Success Guide™ is growing.

These Toolkit Collections are among the first complete resources developed from that work, and CHA conference attendees have an opportunity to receive them at pricing that is not being offered to the general public.

Not because they are worth less.

Because I want more CHA professionals to have them in their hands, use them in real horse operations, and discover what they can do with them.

Whether you teach lessons, manage a barn, work with boarders, supervise staff, welcome new riders and families, or operate another type of horse program, these resources are designed to help you strengthen the professional systems supporting what you already do.

“And there’s more. You’ve also found us while the Equine Safety and Success Network™ is still in its free Pilot Program, which means you can join other horse professionals on Facebook who are helping test, discuss, and shape what comes next.”

Explore the Four Toolkit Collections

These are more than forms to download and put in a file. Each Toolkit Collection is designed to help horse professionals look at an important part of their operation, consider how it is currently being handled, and give staff and management practical resources they can actually use.

You may already have some of these systems in place. Others may show you opportunities you haven’t considered yet. And some may help you turn things you already do well into a more consistent professional process.

Complete Rider Evaluation Toolkit Collection™

Help riders recognize their progress while giving your operation a more consistent way to evaluate rider skills, readiness, and development.

Rider evaluations don’t have to feel like tests. Used well, they can become positive experiences that help riders understand what they have accomplished, identify what comes next, and give instructors another way to communicate progress with riders and families.

The Complete Rider Evaluation Toolkit Collection™ includes three levels—Introductory, Foundational, and Progressive Rider Evaluations—along with the supporting resources needed to implement and use them in your program.

It includes implementation and how-to guidance, evaluation forms, staff and management resources, communication examples, follow-up documentation, and practical teaching tools that can be adapted to different riders and programs.

Regular value: $350

Complete Rules & Expectations Toolkit Collection™

Clear expectations can prevent many problems before they become difficult conversations.

Rules & Expectations are more than a document someone signs. They are conversations about how your operation works, what clients, parents, riders, boarders, guests, and staff need to know, and what happens when expectations aren’t followed.

This collection helps operations develop, communicate, implement, and consistently follow their Rules & Expectations. It also includes resources for documenting and responding when something happens rather than leaving staff or management to decide what to do in the moment.

Resources include implementation guidance, staff and management tools, communication examples, follow-up documentation, and the Rule Violation and Follow-Up resources developed to support consistent professional decision-making.

Regular value: $350

EXPLORE RULES & EXPECTATIONS

The First Lesson Experience™ Toolkit Collection

The first riding lesson starts before the rider gets on the horse.

A new rider’s experience with your operation begins with the first inquiry and continues through scheduling, arrival, introductions, paperwork, meeting the horse, learning how your operation works, and those first moments of instruction.

The First Lesson Experience™ helps horse professionals intentionally create that experience rather than leaving it to chance.

Resources support the welcome process, orientation, rider and family communication, Rules & Expectations, horse introductions, confidence and readiness, staff and management responsibilities, follow-up, and the many details that can turn a first visit into the beginning of a lasting relationship with your program.

Regular value: $350

EXPLORE THE FIRST LESSON EXPERIENCE™

Parents, Guardians & Friends Toolkit Collection™

The people standing outside the arena can have a tremendous influence on the experience happening inside it.

Parents, guardians, family members, and friends can become some of a horse program’s strongest supporters—when they understand how the program works, what is expected of them, and how they can best support the rider.

This collection helps horse professionals create clearer communication and expectations around observation, involvement, boundaries, rider support, and the many situations that can arise when other people are part of a rider’s experience.

The goal isn’t simply to manage problems. It is to help create a more connected community in which riders, families, guests, and horse professionals understand their roles and can work together more successfully.

Regular value: $350

There’s Another CHA Opportunity — And This One Is Free

You don’t have to purchase a Toolkit Collection to become part of what we’re building.

The Equine Safety and Success Network™ (ESSN) is a free private Facebook Pilot Program where horse professionals help develop, test, and improve the Equine Safety and Success Guide™ in real operations.

Each week, we explore practical ideas that horse professionals can take back to their own programs. We look at teaching, communication, rider development, staff and management practices, client relationships, documentation, and the many small decisions that can make a horse operation more successful.

Members don’t simply receive information.

They help shape it.

We discuss what works, what doesn’t, what needs to be clearer, and what may need to change for different types of horse operations. Members bring their own experience to the conversation—and often discover ideas from other parts of the horse industry that they haven’t considered before.

That exchange is one of the things that has made the Pilot Program so interesting.

You’re Invited

Because you’ve found us through the CHA International Conference, I’d especially like to invite you to come see what we’re doing.

Join the private Facebook group. Follow the weekly discussions. Try the ideas that make sense for your operation. Share your experience. Ask questions. And help us continue building resources with horse professionals, not simply for them.

There is no charge to participate in the Pilot Program.

A Personal Note from Randi

My years with CHA have given me opportunities to learn, teach, share, and connect with horse professionals from across the industry. This conference special—and the invitation to join our free Pilot Program—are my way of sharing some of what has grown from those years of experience. I hope you’ll find something here that helps make your own horse operation even more successful.
